Macintosh LC Series Power Supply Capacitor Kit
Capacitor replacement kit for the Macintosh LC Series Power Supply
TDK Models 614-0003 and 699-0153
Contains 8 capacitors
Capacitor List:
- C52, C54, C64 – 270uF 25V (A 25V cap is also used to replace the 10V cap)
- C51, C52, C55 – 1000uF 10V
- C56 – 56uF 25V
- C60 – 47uF 25V
I have repaired a few 699-0153 power supplies and use these capacitors. The 270uF capacitor is a tight squeeze but does fit in.
The 180uF and 8.2uF capacitor should not need replacing and therefore not included.
Warning: The Power Supply carries mains voltages. Only replace the capacitors if you know what you are doing. I will not be held responsible if you insert the capacitors with the incorrect orientation and you do further damage to the power supply.
