Apple IIe Dead Test Ram Diagnostic ROM and EF ROM 342-0134
This is a Dead Test ROM which performs RAM diagnostic tests for the Apple IIe computer.
The ROM software is written by Adrian Black and tests the RAM chips in the Apple IIe computer which does a far better job to diagnose faulty RAM than the internal Apple diagnostics.
The ROM can also be used as a EF ROM Replacement (342-0134)
Includes:
1 x Apple IIe Dead Test / 342-0134 ROM
Usage:
Remove the EF ROM from your Apple and note the orientation
Carefully install the diagnostic ROM in it’s place taking care to get the orientation correct.
With the switch set to D (Disabled) the ROM will act like a 342-0134 ROM.
With the switch not disabled the Dead Test ROM will be selected.
Switch on the Apple computer and you should hear a BEEP and the diagnostic tests will start.
