Oric Atmos Dual ROM
This is a replacement ROM for the Oric-1/Atmos computer and allows you to select 2 different ROM’s to boot from.
The ROM has a switch which allows you to select and boot from either:
– Mike Brown‘s diagnostic ROM v1.08j
– Latest Oric ROM from Pascal with various fixes (v1.22 UK)
To use this you will need to remove the ROM on your Oric. Take note of the orientation. It stock ROM should be in a socket, but would be good to confirm this before ordering.
Carefully remove the ROM and insert the dual ROM in it’s place.
Make sure the ROM is correctly orientated with Pin 1.
The pins on the ROM are rounded and gold plated to ensure better conductivity.
