MPS6540 Adapter
MPS6540 ROM Adapter for Commodore PET 2001 computers.
The MPS6540 is a obsolete ROM chip used in the Commodore PET computers. This adapter allows you to replace the MPS6540 ROM with a standard 27XXX EPROM.
All the chip select lines are implemented and not hard wired so this adapter acts like a real 6540 ROM.
Included is a W27C512 chip. The adapter supports any ERPROM like the 2716, 2764, 27256, 27512. The W27C256 is included as it is electrically erasable with a suitable programmer like the TL866 or T48.

When replacing the ROM make sure you have the correct orientation.
