VIC 20 Kernal + Basic ROM

Commodore VIC 20 Kernal and Basic ROM Replacement

The PCB features a reprogrammable EPROM which is pre-programmed with the Kernal and Basic ROM  (UE11/UE12 2364 ROM) and has round gold plated pins for better conductivity.

If your VIC 20 does not have a socket in place then you will first need to remove the ROM and replace it with a socket. Some soldering skills are required for this in order not to damage the motherboard.

Pin 1 jumpered – 901486-07 PAL-B Original Kernal (UE12)

Pin 2 jumpered – 901486-06 NTSC-M Kernal (UE12)

Pin 3 jumpered – 901486-01 Basic V2 (UE11)
