2364 EPROM adapter which converts the readily available 27Cxxx to the 2364 which is used in the Commodore 64 / 128
 
This adapter is suitable for C64/128 and 1541 ROM replacement. Other retro computers might need another type of adapter.
(CE Line on the EPROM has been tied LOW)
 
Address lines A13, A14, A15 have been tied how so if you use any EPROM larger than a 8k, you will need to program the binary file to the upper most ROM location.
This adapter has been tested with the following EPROMs
  • 27C64 (Program at ROM location starting at 0x0000)
  • 27C128 (Program at ROM location starting at 0x2000)
  • 27C256 (Program at ROM location starting at 0x6000)
  • 27C512 (Program at ROM location starting at 0xE000)
 
There are 3 variations available
  • PCB Only
  • Assembled PCB (28 pin socket + 24 pin gold pins)
  • Assembled PCB + W27C512 ROM (This is a electrically erasable ROM and will be supplied blank)
