ZX80 Rev 2 PCB
This is a blank ZX80 revision 2 PCB which I have reversed engineer from the original Sinclair design, keeping the same component layout, curved tracks, silkscreen and ground fills.
The only small issue I have seen on this revision is if you are going to be using the original power/ear/mic connectors then the holes on the PCB will need to be made slightly bigger (Or the legs of the connectors made smaller)
I have built this and it works perfectly. See the last photo for an example of the display output.
The BOM can be downloaded here
If you are looking for a ZX80 keyboard membrane you can purchase it from rwap software on sellmyretro.
(I’m not affiliated with rwap but have purchased the membrane from them before and it’s excellent quality)
Note: The photo of the fully assembled PCB is for reference only and what it will look like when populated.
You will only be receiving a blank PCB and will need to source and solder in all components yourself.
